A Bit About Us
Adam grew up in Hampton Court, just outside London, England. With a background in lighting and electrical engineering, he spent years designing atmospheric lighting for everything from theatre productions to shop displays, restaurants, bars, and events. His fascination with how light transforms space, paired with a deep appreciation for history and early 20th-century architecture, still influences his photographic eye today.
Tanya, originally from Devon in the southwest of England, has Hungarian roots through her father. She began her career as a hair stylist, where her love of colour and transformation took shape. Over time, her work expanded across sales, luxury home management, and international roles in the U.S, and throughout the UK. Art and photography were always her dream and today, the digital world finally gives her the tools to bring that vision to life.
How TAF – images Was Born
In 2020, while living in a riverside apartment in Budapest during lockdown, we were inspired by two oversized art pieces on the walls. One, a giant clock face lacking detail; the other, a black-and-white cityscape with a lone red London bus. Those images sparked a thought: What if we could take real-life photos and turn them into large-scale, high-impact wall art, rich in colour, full of emotion, and modern in their expression.
On January 1, 2021, we committed to the challenge. From investing in high-resolution cameras and learning advanced editing software, to researching large-format printing techniques, we taught ourselves everything from scratch. Adam captures the world in razor-sharp detail. Tanya takes the RAW images and works her magic, or as Adam likes to call it, “Tanyarizing” the shot.
