Adam originally from Hampton Court, just outside London, England and Tanya from the South West of England in Devon, descendant of a Hungarian father.
Adam started his career as a lighting and electrical engineer, his passion for lighting started at a very young age and was at the forefront of his career, from designing theatrical lighting scenes, shop window displays, restaurants, bars, night clubs and events etc. Creating scenes using different colours of light to change and enhance a space to become an exciting place to be. Adam also has a love of history and architecture from the late 19th and early 20th century.
Tanya started her career as a stylist in a hair salon. Her passion for colouring hair quickly grew. Tanya gained a sound understanding of colouring hair from subtlety enhancing the hair to extreme bright colours. She loved the way a person’s hair colour, once enhanced or changed, gave a person additional confidence. During Tanya’s diverse career, from sales to running private homes, working in America, Hungary and all over the UK. Tanya has always wanted to pursue her passion in art, design and photography. The digital world has now enabled her to follow this pathway and use her newfound skills to create and edit alongside her husband to what you see today.
In 2020 Tanya and Adam were living in Budapest, Hungary during the Covid pandemic. They had both lost their current careers and rented an apartment alongside the beautiful River Danube. Wondering what they were going to do in the future, as their qualifications had lapsed due to employment requirements in a new age of change with the Ai revolution encroaching fast.
Their inspiration came from two huge images in the apartment they were renting at the time, an image of a 2 metre large clock face stuck on the wall but had very little detail and also a very large black and white picture with an image of a red London bus, with the background out of focus. They both thought with the advance of high resolution digital cameras, they wanted to create large impacting wall art from real life images, so from the 1st of January 2021 Adam and Tanya decided to take up the challenge. They researched what they required from the equipment, computing software and taught themselves new skills to complement this new enterprise right down to the printing of the large format images that are now manufactured to order using the latest printing technologies on the market.
Their creation and interpretation of the colours within real life photography is designed to excite the mind with interest and positivity. Adam uses a high resolution digital camera to capture as much detail as possible. Tanya then takes the RAW image to edit and enhance the image to what her husband calls, “Tanyarized”.
